But have you ever stepped back to think, what do rising temperatures actually mean for all of the amazing nature, biodiversity and ecosystems that surround us? Tackling the climate emergency also means tackling the ecological emergency which comes with it. Our ecosystems are precious and delicate, even small changes can have negative consequences. Rising temperatures and more extreme weather events in the future could have a catastrophic effect on wildlife habitats and biodiversity locally. Protecting nature and boosting biodiversity are key to the stability of the ecosystem and global climate.
